Suzanne Ramírez, MSW, LCSW entered the mental health field as a career change in 2021 and first became involved with Centus through their Residency Program when it was first getting started, gaining the necessary clinical experience to obtain licensure by serving clients through the Susan School Program and the Outpatient program, working with adolescents, adults, and couples. Prior to becoming the Clinical Director of the Outpatient Program, Suzanne has also held the roles of Residency Program Coordinator and Clinical Coordinator of Outpatient Program.

Suzanne received their Bachelor of Arts degree from Sonoma State University, CA with a double major in history and anthropology with a focus on religions, spiritual beliefs, and practices from various cultures. They received their Master of Social Work degree from University of Denver, CO, focusing on mental health and trauma. Before becoming involved in the mental health field, they supported corporate executives who travelled globally by coordinating travel logistics and providing cultural sensitivity training to prepare them for the communities they visited. They have a background working with families experiencing homelessness, providing case management and housing navigation. They have also worked in a transformational shelter community that focused on supporting women and transgender folks experiencing homelessness providing mental health support and access to resources.
